About TRI-CON

TRI-CON CHILD CARE CENTER's mission since its founding in 1971 has been to provide economically attainable early care and education for children of lower income families.

The center promotes the social, emotional and cognitive skills of each child in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate atmosphere that ensures that every child is ready to succeed by the time he or she enters their local school system.

Our mission extends to and includes the families of our students where we act as a community liaison when support is needed from other social services agencies and professionals.

Operating out of facilities provided by Trinity Episcopal Church, TRI-CON is a non-profit non-denominational child care service providing professional supervised care for children ages 3 through 7, Mondays through Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Our Founding sponsors include Trinity Episcopal Church, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and The National Council of Jewish Women. The United Ways of the North Shore and Lake County, Moraine Township, the City of Highland Park and many additional local businesses, foundations and individuals provide ongoing financial support.

Licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, 100% of attending children do so under financial aid as provided by state funds, grants, provided donations and sliding scale tuition fees computed on family income and size. TRI-CON offers daycare services in a safe, nurturing and diverse environment to all families regardless of race, national origins, or religious affiliation.

For over 35 years TRI-CON has addressed the need for subsidized child care in the North Shore area. Our enrollment is limited by facility size and TRI-CON has operated with a waiting list for available space since its inception.

For more information regarding donations and/or offers of volunteer help, please contact Ms. Pamela Feinberg, Executive Director.
