Meet Our Staff & Board

Staff

Pamela Feinberg, Executive Director, Pam joined Tri-Con as the Executive Director in 2002, bringing with her extensive early childhood experience.  Pam earned her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with minors in Child Development & Speech.  She resides in Buffalo Grove with her husband, Steve, and her favorite past time is visiting her daughter, Jessica, son-in-law, Rob and her two young grandchildren Will and Anna in Washington, DC.

Densie Varner, Assistant Director, Denise has been a part of Tri-Con since 1981 after graduating from Illinois State University
with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with minors in both Child Development & Reading.  As a seasoned professional Denise is instrumental in mentoring classroom teachers as well as keeping up to date with State of IL funding guidelines.  She is a long-time Highland Park resident with her husband, John, and her "tree climbing" son, Jack.

Cristina Reyes, Classroom Teacher, Cristina first came to Tri-Con in 1998 as part of Highland Park High School's Work/Study Program. While attending College of Lake County she joined our Tri-Con team as a full time teacher.  She is a native Spanish speaker who grew up in Highland Park and now lives in Beach Park with her husband, Roberto, and their four boys, Eduardo, Armando, Fernando & Gerardo.

Karen Kushner, Classroom Teacher, Karen has been working at Tri-Con since 2006.  She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching young children since 1999.  She's a devoted aunt to many and enjoys her time spent as a volunteer with rescue animals, especially the puppies. She resides in Skokie.

Sue Santello, Administrative Assistant, Sue joined Tri-Con in 1987 as a part-time Administrative Assistant when her youngest child started kindergarten.  Not only does she run our office but she also comes to our rescue daily when & where an extra set of hands is needed. Her grandchildren all attended Tri-Con resulting in all the kids calling her "grandma".  She is an integral part of working with our IL State Board of Education food program & billing for our State of IL subsidy program.  Sue and her husband Bill both grew up in Highwood and made Highland Park their home.

Elizabeth Falzone, Classroom Teacher/Bookkeeper, Elizabeth began her career at Tri-Con as a bookkeeper in 2019.  She has recently joined our teaching team as a classroom teacher.  She is a graduate of Illinois State University with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Education.  Elizabeth is also an enthusiastic horticulturist & bocce player.  She is a life long Highland Parker who enjoys being involved with "living green".

Renee Wodzien, Substitute & Summer Camp Coordinator, Renee originally started with us as an after-school volunteer in 1996.  Once she started college she returned each summer as our Camp Coordinator.  To this day Renee continues to be connected to us as a substitute teacher.  Renee received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Illinois State University
and is currently teaching in one of the Dist. 112 schools.  She and her husband, Greg, along with her sons, Daniel & Michael (who attended Tri-Con) live in Palatine.
 
Jorie Osuna, Music & Movement Specialist, Jorie has joined us as our music specialist.  She joins our classroom weekly bringing along her guitar, instruments and her fun-filled dance routines.  She has a background in music education. She comes to us with her enthusiasm & love for children and music.
